Reading is fun.
Fantasy, reality, adventure, sci-fi…it’s all waiting for you. Where? In the pages of a book! Knowing how to read well (literacy) can also increase your self-esteem, raise your grades and open entire new worlds to you. Reading is essential in all areas of life, even social life. Imani Book Club is for 6th – 12th graders who will read books selected for their relevance and student interest. Activities around these books include oral presentations, tips on improving comprehension, journaling and keeping a vocabulary log. Sign Up
